We’re excited to share some wonderful news from the Roly’s Fudge family — our Newquay shop has a new owner! After eight amazing years managing Roly’s Fudge Pantries in Cornwall, Lisa is now officially taking the reins of the Roly’s Fudge Pantry in Newquay and continues to bring the magic of handmade fudge to Cornwall’s north coast. With her deep love for the town, the people, and of course, the fudge, Lisa is the perfect person to lead the next chapter of this much-loved seaside shop.
Lisa’s journey with Roly’s Fudge started with a single bite.
“My first experience of Roly’s Fudge was on a visit to Fowey 9 years ago, the smell was incredible and watching the fudge being rolled mesmerising! I actually was buying fudge for my mum but after that taster I was hooked!”
Shortly after that visit, fate stepped in. Roly’s was hiring, and Lisa — with a passion for all things sweet and a background in retail — jumped at the chance.
“With a love of all things sweet and a passion for retail, I couldn’t believe my luck when shortly after visiting the shop they were hiring a manager! Soon after starting I realised I was part of something special, I love the family run aspect of our business and the wonderful people I meet from all over the world! Delivering a product that can’t be beaten in taste and texture…it’s magic!”
After eight years managing the Newquay shop under previous owners Joel and Mary, Lisa is now stepping into her dream — becoming the official owner and continuing the tradition of handmade, mouth-watering fudge right in the heart of Cornwall.
Roly’s Fudge Newquay opened in July 2014, becoming the second Roly’s shop in Cornwall. Tucked away in one of the UK’s most loved seaside towns, the shop has become a favourite among visitors and locals alike.
Newquay itself is a gem of the north Cornish coast — known for its famous surf beaches like Fistral and Watergate Bay, its vibrant seaside atmosphere, and accolades such as:

“I’ve always loved Newquay and have fond memories growing up and spending time on its beautiful beaches and enjoying the nightlife, however these days I enjoy what Newquay has to offer with my family and son, it’s always a great day out!”
