If you would like to send fudge as a gift to another country, please note that there are always international customs, handling and import tax fees to be paid. Therefore we would recommend it is better to order fudge to yourself and then send via Royal Mail or another courier. This way you can send the item as a Gift under customs, which may be less expensive for you, and/or you can pay for delivery duties yourself. If you don’t do this, please note your recipient will be paying additional fees, which in the EU  in particular are high.

Costs of shipping to EU:

Since January 2021, parcels sent to EU countries are subject to local import taxes or handling fees. 

NEW! Since July 2026, another charge has been implemented of 3 euros per item. For example if you order 1 box of Vanilla Clotted Cream, 1 box of Chocolate, and 1 box of Maple & Walnut Fudge, there is a charge of 9 euros total. 

These charges are set by the destination country and by the EU and are payable by the recipient upon delivery. There are usually local shipping fees, courier handling, import tax and sometimes other fees, but we cannot estimate what these will be. As they vary by country and parcel value, we’re unfortunately unable to provide an estimate in advance. 

If the recipient or yourself reject the parcel due to customs costs, we’re very happy to refund the cost of the goods once it arrives back with us. Please note that we’re unable to refund the original delivery charge, as this is a significant cost already incurred. 

Costs of Shipping to Spain:

Please note that we have noticed that in some instances this is extremely high to Spain because the state-owned postal services charge high fees for postage and inspection: for this reason, shipping to Spain is currently disabled on our website unless requested. 

(A recent order to Spain for a £28.50 box of fudge, where £11 of shipping was already paid on our website, was as follows: 5 euros on import tax, then to Correos: 20.87 euros customs paperwork, 4.96 euros handling fee, 18.43 euros for additional inspections because it is a food product, and 21% VAT by Correos on these service fees of 9.29)
